How it all came about...
One day a group of stoner friends came together, and sometime before, during or after they got high, The Stoned Olympics idea was born...
As a diverse group they had just 1 ultimate goal: to create a space for all lovers of the cannabis plant to connect, grow and unite at a mini-mega expo that showcases bud from other home-growers around the Cape like them. Add to that an intimate and bespoke canna-brands market, accompanied by munchie-making masterminds to handle the food court. Sounds cool!
But it's not only about those with green-fingers, and it's not just another market - it also about the stoners, daggakoppe, dabbers, the smoking professionals - because as with any real o'lympic games, there needs to be different sporting disciplines to take part in. So, The Stoned Olympics will also have 5 exciting Stoner Games that friends can sign up for and challenge each other in on the day.
The Stoned Olympics is about bringing together different sides of the cannabis community for one day - where we can network, share our stories, showcase our skills, and most importantly connect.
The Stoned Olympics is about connecting all of us that have this one common love - Mary Jane.
A space where marijuana can be celebrated amongst a diverse community... that's the vision.

ABOUT The Stoned O'lympics
The Stoned O'lympics is a mini-mega stoner event that first took place in 2021.
After a successful launch event, the team has hosted The Stoned O'lympics event annually in June, alongside the Home Growers Cup.
The Stoned O'lympics has also grown to include various 420-friendly event pop-up throughout the year.
The events aim to bring together stoners and home growers alike in a fun exhibition and showcase of the champions in
growing bud, as well as the champs in smoking bud, rolling bud, preparing bud...
